I teach with a very hands on method. I will do everything I can for you to learn the techniques so you know EXACTLY what is going on. I DO NOT just set up a scene and hand you a trigger. YOU set up your own scenes and situations.
You need to know:
Basic camera exposure
How to use a flash with ambient light. "One light and the sun"
How to use a light meter
You will learn:
How to setup and meter multiple flashes
Proper placement of your flash.
How to manually control your flash for its greatest potential and further understanding of TTL.
Use of grids and gels
Not making a image look over flashed
How to reverse engenier an image
You will need to bring:
Camera/lenses
Speedlight if you have one
Notebook
Class will start at 10 am and go to 5 pm
