ABOUT ABOUT

Fundamentals of Fashion photography and Lighting for you to use with Weddings, Seniors and Boudoir.
This course will help you start photographing from a Fashion photography point of view. Have you asked yourself why fashion images always have a certain clarity; they also seem to evoke a mood or feeling and it all seems to just come together.

There are techniques that can be taught that will take your images to a fashion photography level.

Composition - With much of the portrait community utilizing shallow DOF, make your images stand out from the competition and learn how to incorporate distorting backgrounds in your image to make for a stronger image and story and let everyone else just “blur” the background
Lighting - It is crucial to understand light. The better you understand how light behaves and can change your image the more control you will have with your creative vision.
Posing and camera angels - Learn how to shoot on a parallel and pose with composition of the whole image in mind rather than just posing a subject.
Strobe - Learn how using a strobe enhances your images and can even make your natural light photos look natural but with much more clarity. You will learn how to use flash to make your image look like they were naturally lit.
Processing - Utilize Lightroom and Photoshop quickly to achieve a real looking image even with lots of “digital” looks. Make your images stand the test of time by looking like photos and not over photoshopped photos.
Confidence - By learning a few things that are often overlooked in the digital age, you will achieve the confidence to shoot in any situation.  This will let you charge more $$$ without freaking out.

This 2-day class will take place July 8th and 9th with an optional breakfast coffee talk on the 10th.
